The Future of Global Power Generation
Our Guest Speakerthis year was Professor Suzie Imber, a space physicist, TV series winner, high-altitude mountaineer, elite athlete, global environmental leader, broadcaster and inspirational speaker. She first achieved international recognition when she won the BBC2 TV series ‘Astronauts: Do You Have What It Takes?’. In the series, 12 candidates undertook astronaut training under the direction of astronaut Commander Chris Hadfield.
The Seminar and Annual Luncheon is well established as a key event in the calendar of the power and prime mover industries and is an occasion not to be missed. This year the event was held at The Biltmore Mayfair.
The day included technical industry updates, plenty of networking opportunities (with both peers and industry specialists) and an excellent 3-course luncheon with after dinner speakers.
Technology Seminar The morning seminar comprised of a multi-stream programme covering a range of technologies and subject matter, so there was something relevant to everyone’s business and interests.
We would like to thank Pranav Menon from Aurora Energy Research, Andrew Cunningham from GeoPura. Amanda Rocca from UKAEA, Mark Shatwell from Fichtner Consulting Engineers and Joris van der List from Certas/Q8 Oils for such an excellent morning of presentations.
Networking in the Atrium Bar Pre-lunch was a time for discussing the morning’s presentations with colleagues or networking with companies you may not usually have the opportunity to have met before.
Luncheon During the 3-course luncheon there were 2 Speakers, one Industry based and a Guest Speaker.
The individual ticket price was £210.00 (+ VAT) which includes admission to the Seminar and Luncheon.
