12TH INTERNATIONAL POWER CONFERENCE
Power technologies for the future energy mix
28th October 2024 – Afternoon Workshop
29th and 30th October 2024 – Conference
Hilton Hotel East Midlands Airport
Continuing IPowerE’s successful series of Power Technologies conferences, this event again offers a broad selection of genres and topics, offering a unique opportunity to listen to industry experts describe the latest developments in power generation, storage and grid stability. It will consider the engineering, technology and application of these key elements of the Future Energy Mix.
Globally, the power generation sector is addressing the challenges of the climate emergency, integration of large scale renewables and energy storage, and continued energy security.
The transition to increased renewable power generation sources will require current established technologies and energy sources to work alongside innovative solutions in future years and allow energy supply to be delivered in a flexible way.
The conference programme will start with a Keynote speech from Matthew Knight, Siemens Energy and over the two-day conference presentations will include:
Power System design with a clutch and how to enable flexible power generation and support grid strength for the Future Energy Mix
