The IPowerE Operational Report has an international reputation as a definitive document providing an independent comparison and analysis of power plant performance. It is valued by industry consultants, developers and operators alike in the pursuit of excellence in terms of plant performance and optimisation.

The IPowerE Operational Report provides analysis, guidance and benchmark performance indices to users of reciprocating engines, gas turbine plant and combined cycle power plants worldwide as well as all forms of power generation.

2024 Operational Report Invitation
The Institution of Power Engineers (formerly IDGTE) is delighted to have successfully issued the 2023 Operational Report. On behalf of the working group we are now pleased to invite you to submit a return for the 2024 Operational Report by 31 January 2024.
All past contributors and new contributors are invited to send in returns for reciprocating engines, gas turbines, combined cycle power plants, renewable energy and energy storage facilities for any twelve month period during 2022-2023.
The IPowerE Operational Report is a unique member based non-commercial report providing analysis, guidance and benchmark performance indices to users of reciprocating engines, gas turbine/combined cycle, renewable energy, Hydro and Solar power plants worldwide as well as other forms of power generation. The report which was formerly known as the Working Cost Report, has existed for over 100 years and relies upon the contributions of Users to ensure it is both comprehensive and statistically valid. We hope that you will support us in continuing this work and will submit a return for the IPowerE 2024 Operational Report helping to continuing this great success.
The Annual Operational Report is a unique independent compilation of data of value to organisations worldwide, including owners, operators, financial bodies, manufacturers and consulting engineers. The Report is one of a number of technical papers presented and published by IDGTE annually. Over recent years we have had more than 45 countries and territories represented in our reports representing over 800 sites and 3300 prime movers. Please help us to continue achieving our target by sending in your return and asking others. We have now successfully introduced renewable power plants to the report and are keen to gain entries for Solar, Wind, Hydro and Storage power plants. Members and Contributors are asked to assist in adding new entries in all categories for the 2024 report.
All Contributors to the report will receive a copy of the full results in a printed copy of the report as soon as it is issued. Contributors will also receive an invitation to join the Ops Report presentation and discussion meeting as soon as this can be arranged. This report is issued to IPowerE Members and all our Contributors only.
